Well I&#8217;m not so good at knitting fingers &#8211; when you knit with two circulars you pull the second stitch on your needle tight to avoid ladders, however this also means that fingers in gloves are too tight. Yes I could have tried knitting them looser but instead I opted for a fingerless mitten. I then decided to pick up stitches on the back of the mitten and construct a mitten shell to pop over my fingers when I want to keep them warm.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Pinkmit1\" title=\"Pinkmit1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scifiville.com\/images\/pinkmit1.jpg\" border=\"0\"  \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Pinkmit2\" title=\"Pinkmit2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scifiville.com\/images\/pinkmit2.jpg\" border=\"0\"  \/><\/center> <\/p>\n<p>Today we went to Lampeter to work on an outside broadcast, this meant four hours of travelling time there and back which meant four hours of knitting time.<\/p>\n<p><center>So I decided to cast on for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarnharlot.ca\/blog\/images\/harlot_poncho.pdf\">Very Harlot Poncho<\/a> in my Art Fibers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artfibers.com\/YARN\/catalog\/new_wave_1\/Amaretto\/amaretto.html\">Amaretto <\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sfponcho1\" title=\"Sfponcho1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scifiville.com\/images\/sfponcho1.jpg\" border=\"0\"  \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\n<center>Here&#8217;s a close-up of the texture.<\/center><\/p>\n<p>\n<center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sfponcho2\" title=\"Sfponcho2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scifiville.com\/images\/sfponcho2.jpg\" border=\"0\"  \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p>\n<center>It&#8217;s not a great close-up but I think you get the idea.
