Or you can look at your Plant Monitor and see if it&#8217;s flashing!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an electronic sensor that can tell if the soil requires moisture and I built one from a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maplin.co.uk\/plant-moisture-monitor-kit-219974\" target=\"_blank\">kit from Maplin<\/a> yesterday.
