KnitCast Ravelry Group

Posted in Podcasting on March 25th, 2010 by Marie Irshad – Be the first to comment

It took me a while to create the banner, or rather to find the time to create the banner!, but the KnitCast Ravelry group is now operational :)

So far it’s a bit lonely as I’m the only member – cue violins ;) – So I hope you’ll join me there and that the group will be another place where you can share your thoughts about the show with me.

Such A Bad Podcaster…

Posted in Podcasting on May 22nd, 2007 by Marie Irshad – 5 Comments

Yes this is a little addition to the post on my personal blog.

Firstly, yes there will be a new edition of KnitCast this month.

Secondly, I’m going on holiday to New York City in July and hope to record some interviews while I’m there! I’ll be there for the first
week of July and I have some ideas for interviews and I’ll be
contacting people soon about those. However I do want to leave the
majority of my trip for shopping! It’ll be my third visit to NYC and my
second trip to the Garment District. I’m really looking forward to it!
Let’s hope I don’t go over my baggage weight allowance on the way home!

KnitCast 07 – Pam Allen

Posted in KnitCast 07 - Pam Allen, Podcasting on May 16th, 2005 by Marie Irshad – 3 Comments

Ever wondered how much work goes into editing a knitting magazine? In the latest KnitCast, I meet Pam Allen, editor of Interweave Knits magazine. And apologies for the variation in sound quality of this interview – I hope that you’ll enjoy it despite that. Many thanks to Pam for putting up with technical problems like sound delays!

No podcast this week :-(

Posted in Podcasting on March 24th, 2005 by Marie Irshad – 3 Comments

I was hoping to bring you an interview with Kerrie Allman from MagKnits.com on Monday but we had technical problems and it’s just not podcastable.

Kerrie is such a delightful person that when I do post an interview with her I want you to be able to hear just how lovely she is. Posting the first recording wouldn’t do her justice. So I’m hoping to redo her interview sometime in the future. I’ll keep you posted.
