We had to stop at the Habu stand of course! Now I don’t know if it was just because all of the good stuff had already been bought up but I was a bit disappointed with Habu. The yarns just seemed to be very thin and very expensive. It didn’t stop me from buying something of course!

From left to right – Cork Chenille (100% cotton), Silk Tobi Moire (90% silk, 7% polyester, 3% nylon) and some finely spun steel. These will become a scarf. I haven’t decided what number needles to use to knit it yet.
And from the Touch Yarns stand I got the last skein of this!

Not long now until we leave for San Francisco!
Blimey ! A friend bought me a surprise gift…of that exact same merino/kid mohair boucle.I couldn’t get a decent pic of it – the purple never showed up.
Habu yarns are,as another friend said, very urban ! Go big.12mm or 15mm.Really.It’ll make an interesting mesh fabric.See my black ‘thread’ scarf from a few days back.
Have a wonderful trip, you two! Can’t wait to see you on the 25th!
