Running on empty…

I’m back from my business trip – working on outside broadcasts for two days – and am shattered! I’m so exhausted.

Today was pretty bad because it was cold, raining and muddy. It was really vile and horrible working in that. We had a long drive home and although we left at about 2.30pm I didn’t arrive at my house until 7pm. So tired now.

I’m on the cuff of my sock and am ready to start the ribbing but can’t find my 2mm needles for that. I have a few too many sock projects perhaps! 🙂

You have one ball of Art Fibers Chai, a handpainted thick and thin Tussah Silk – what do you do with it? Some sort of scarf? But what?

  1. I think it would be lovely on big needles with some sort of faggotting stitch — big and lacy and open. Once you block it, it will definitely stay put.
Chai is wonderful stuff — I just finished a top out of it. It’s so easy to wear against the skin and has fabulous drape!
