I began knitting this topdown raglan on February 28th last year. It’s in Noro Silk Garden shade 87. I had to take another sick day today due to the stomach trouble, so finishing off the last few rows of the sweater wasn’t taxing. It did make me angry that I hadn’t finished it earlier but at least it’s done now. Well, actually there are still a few ends to be woven in but I’ve been wearing it tonight anyway. 🙂

Without light – the colours show up too dark
With light – the colours look washed out. You’ll just have to trust me when I tell you that the colours are great and I love this sweater!
While we’re on the subject of finishing…
This is Agnes from "Simply Noro" by Ellison. It’s in Kureyon shade 124. The knitting of this was one of my Xmas presents to myself. I started it in mid-December and cast off the last stitch on Sunday January 1st.
Again, the colours don’t show up too well so here it is again, but in light.
I’m going to try and see if I can get the finishing done before tomorrow’s Stitch & Bitch.
I love Noro and spent some of my Xmas money on Blossom shade 5 for Jane Ellison’s Eloise. I also have some more Kureyon on the way in shade 130. I’m going to try and abstain from buying yarn for at least the rest of the month. I’ll try knitting up some more of my stash instead! 🙂

Your sweaters are beautiful and I think knitting the raglan sweater from the top down is no easy feat. Where are you getting your Noro yarns from?
