The Knitting and Stitching Show!

That’s where Jeni and I are off to tomorrow! We have to get a hideously early train so will be very knackered but I’m sure we’ll have a great time! I’ve been looking through the programme and can’t quite believe the selection of things that will be on sale at the stalls. There are loads of exhibitions as well. I just hope that we don’t spend too much!

Ponchos – Thanks for the lovely comments on my Mango Moon poncho! I used a US size 13, I think that’s 9mm was using my Denise needles for it. I used the pattern that called for two rectangles to be knit. One thing I will add is that the measurements of the finished poncho quoted in the pattern are actually incorrect. If you knit to guage the rectangles will be slightly less wide than the pattern claims they will. That’s easily corrected though by casting on more stitches. However I didn’t realise this until I had almost finished my first rectangle. The poncho is still a good length on me though.
